Artisan offers three packages of distressing techniques to give your cabinetry the look of old world craftsmanship. Hand-applied styling simulates the natural appearance of aged wood and provides a new level of cabinetry customization. The Artisan technique applies simulated cracks, worm holes, carved or worn edges, screw marks, chisel marks and dings to create the impression of naturally aged wood. Consider adding Glaze to your distressed cabinetry to bring out the grain and enhance the hand-applied effects.

To replicate the natural aging of wood, the following special effects are randomly placed before the stain and glaze are applied. Each effect will vary in size, shape, length and depth.
